WHAT ARE THE CITY HOTEL FEES?
For convenience and added value, we bundle separate incidental fees into one City Hotel Fee that includes the following services, amenities, and added value offerings:
- Two daily drinks at Collage Bistro & Bar
- Unlimited premium high-speed Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public areas
- Daily full-service gym access (hotel is partnered with Mid-City Gym)
- Unlimited local & long distance phone calls
- Two bottles of water in-room, replenished daily
It is a mandatory fee as part of your reservation and is priced at $25 plus tax per room per night.
HOW DO I GET TO DISTRIKT HOTEL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
We’re located on West 40th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, just a minutes’ walk from the Port Authority and Times Square Station on the MTA Subway Lines. When leaving the station, use the iconic New York Times Building as a point of reference. Head west towards 9th Ave on 40th Street, the hotel entrance is down the block on your left.
WHAT IF I PREFER TO ARRIVE BY CAR?
Distrikt Hotel works with multiple car services to get where you need to be when you want to be there. To inquire about pricing, to reserve a car, or for more detailed directions, please contact us here.
WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK IN?
Your room will be ready from 3pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive before 3pm, then we’ll do our best to check you in straight away.
WHEN DO I NEED TO CHECK OUT?
12 noon, but if you do wish to stay a bit longer, you can check out at 1pm for an additional charge $20 plus tax. Late checkouts past 1PM are subject to availability and will incur an additional fee.
CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE?
We are more than happy to store guest luggage prior to checking in and post check-out.
CAN I PRINT AT THE HOTEL AND HOW MUCH IS IT?
Our lobby business center is equipped with three iMac computers and is free to use. Feel free to print as much as you need. I mean, it is free!
IS THERE WI-FI AVAILABLE AND HOW MUCH?
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel for all guest. Once you arrive to your room you will find a letter on your desk with the access code. We like to keep it a secret.
WHERE IS THE GYM?
We do offer passes to a nearby Full Service Fitness Center. Gym access is complimentary for guests that book direct. A $15 fee is charged per gym visit for guests booking through an online travel agent.
WHERE CAN I GET MY LAUNDRY DONE?
Distrikt offers Valet Laundry service for all guest 7 days a week, charges are based on how much of your wardrobe you hand over and how quickly you need to be looking sharp.
HOW OFTEN CAN I GET MY LINENS CHANGED MY STAY?
Our housekeeping department provides daily service to all rooms. If guest would like a particular time for turn-down service they can always make the request by calling our front desk.
CAN I GET HAVE PACKAGES DELIVERED FOR ME DURING MY STAY?
In most cases, we can accept small deliveries on your behalf as long as it is addressed properly.

PACKAGES ARRIVING LESS THAN 3 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL
Up to (3) small to medium package (20in x 20in) up to 20 lbs. is free per guestroom.
Each additional package up to 20 lbs.* will be charged a $5.00 delivery fee
Packages weighing over 20 lbs.* are subject to $1.00/pound service delivery fee.
Oversized packages will be subject to a $5.00 fee per package regardless of weight (Oversized packages are larger than 20in x 20in x 20in)

Packages Arriving more than 3 Days Prior to Arrival
Due to limited storage space, we request that shipments NOT arrive any earlier than three (3) days prior to arrival.
Each package (up to 20in x 20in) will be subject to an $25.00 acceptance fee if delivered earlier than three days prior.
Packages weighing over 20 lbs.* are subject to an additional $1.00/lb. service delivery fee.
Oversized packages will be subject to an additional $5.00 fee per package regardless of weight (Oversized packages are larger than 20inx20inx20in)
No pallet deliveries will be accepted
Packages will not be received/forwarded to guests who have checked out of the hotel.
Ship Out Handling Fees:
Guest is responsible for arranging their shipping to and from the hotel.
Stored packages must be picked up within 24 hours after drop-off. Packages not collected within 24 hours are subject to a $25.00 per package storage fee per day.
For international shipping, all of the shipping information must be completed by the guest. In the case where the hotel is shipping internationally for the guest, the contents of the package must be inspected by the hotel for customs declaration.
